Confirm Volunteer Hours
Let's be honest, Saab was never a popular brand to attract customers in sufficient volumes. Saab was a bit more of a mark held by a small number of loyal customers and eclectic tastes.
When GM went through its crisis time Saab owner, knew what he was doing by getting rid of the brand and turned the offer a bit more attractive by adding a few models based on their platforms, what I think the mirage of return pushed Spyker to acquire this brand:
Error!
Spyker soon discovered that it lacked the resources to sustain an operation like Saab and that profitability was not a concept included in the business. Things worsened to the point that a few weeks ago definitely Saab stopped production of vehicles due to lack of money to pay its suppliers of components.
However, Reuters quoted an anonymous source Financiele De Telegraaf (DTF) according to which the Swedish government is about to ask to take over Volvo Saab.
ThatVolvo (now owned by Chinese automaker Geely, God: The twists and turns of life in the automotive world!) To take over Saab, the Swedish government would provide certainty about the repayment of the loan that it did to Saab who provided him with "only" 400 million euros!.
the end, I think more than a shot of "garage" disguised by the Swedish government Geely trying to pay them some of the big loan, hardly Saab back to profitability.
